Calling all jazz fans from around the globe.  This November 26-30, make your way to the 29th Annual San Diego Thanksgiving Dixieland Jazz Festival.  For your dancing and listening pleasure this holiday season, this crown jewel of jazz festivals features plenty of bands, international guest artists, and solo pianists.  Whether traditional jazz, dixieland or swing tickles your fancy, there’s something here to suit every taste. 

Pre-Festival
This year, check out Wednesday night’s pre-festival concert-dance.  Featuring locals Dixie Express and High Society Jazz Band from La Jolla. 

Chow Down
If all that boogie woogie works up your appetite, don’t miss the Town and Country Thanksgiving Buffet on Thursday afternoon.  Of course, you get your feast with a side of more live music.

Ragtime Extravaganza
On Friday evening and Saturday afternoon, enjoy a little ragtime with The Heliotrope Ragtime Orchestra, performing with local vintage dancers in full period gear. 

JazzSea Jams
Bring your instrument and have a blast jamming and learning how to play in an organized jazz band.

Sunday Wind-Down
Sunday morning, enjoy a little Gospel music with Night Blooming Jazzmen.
