Sure,
who doesn’t hope for that chance celebrity encounter while exploring
Hollywood? It’s not like you aren’t thinking it already - wondering if
that’s someone famous hiding behind that pair of sunglasses, dipping
into that hole-in-the-wall coffee shop, or trotting around town,
miniature Chihuahua in-tow. Stop fantasizing and start experiencing.
If you want the encounter of a lifetime, then get on over to Madame Tussauds Hollywood,
where you’ll find a unique, emotionally-charged attraction that invites
you to interact with your favorite celebs without velvet ropes. The
only question that remains: Who do you want to meet?
The Ultimate Celebrity Experience Authentic
lifelike figures, interactive features, and three floors of 18 themed
areas are just the beginning of the Madame Tussauds Hollywood
adventure. And you’re one of the first to be invited through these
doors. Taking center stage just last month, Madame Tussauds Hollywood
is an immersive attraction where you’ll step into elaborate sets, just
as if you’re playing the role of a supporting actor or actress.
Here’s
a sneak peek at the stunning stars you’ll encounter on your amazing
journey. But don’t take our word for it – get on over to Hollywood
Boulevard and see it for yourself.
Courtyard The excitement begins before entering the building. Join Marilyn Monroe in an iconic Hollywood tradition and place your hands into pre-cast cement. Or gawk at Pulp Fiction bad boy Samuel L. Jackson, silently smoldering over the festivities.
Red Carpet Arrival Prepare to be greeted by none other than President Barack Obama. Then, just like a real star, you’ll encounter Joan Rivers with microphone in-hand asking “What are you wearing?” Continuing on, you’ll find Nicole Kidman looking sumptuous and Johnny Depp inviting you to pose for the paparazzi.
A-List Party The vibe and atmosphere is electric at the hottest party in town. Perform with Beyoncé and Elton John; cozy up in an intimate conversation with heartthrob George Clooney; or rub elbows with Justin
Timberlake, Brad Pitt, Julia Roberts, Jennifer Lopez, Will Smith,
Jennifer Aniston, Penelope Cruz, Britney Spears, Zac Efron, and a host of other headlining stars.
Spirit of Hollywood Descend into the romance and grandeur of the golden era of cinema with Johnny Grant, Charlie Chaplin, and Marlene Dietrich. Step into the 1930s and 40s, and into a dance sequence with Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire. Meet aviator Howard Hughes. Interact with larger-than-life stars like Bob Hope, James Dean, Vivien Leigh, Clark Gable, Bette Davis, Ingrid Bergman, Judy Garland, and George Burns.
Continue through the 1950s and 60s, as you’re invited to sit in a boat next to Katharine Hepburn with Humphrey Bogart nearby, recreating a scene from the African Queen. Then there’s Peter O’Toole in Lawrence of Arabia and James Stewart in It’s A Wonderful Life. For more intimate encounters, get close to beauties Elizabeth Taylor as Cleopatra and Raquel Welch in One Million Years B.C.
Westerns The smell of gun powder and the sounds of spurs clicking. This is the wild, wild West. Saddle up with John Wayne in True Grit, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid stars Paul Newman and Robert Redford, and legendary gunslinger Clint Eastwood.
Crime Get dark and sinister at a “sit down” across from The Godfather, Marlon Brando, perhaps making him an offer he can’t refuse. And meet other famous gangsters like Robert De Niro and Al Pacino in Scarface. Then come face-to-face with Sir Anthony Hopkins as Hannibal Lector in The Silence of the Lambs.
Modern Classics Sit down on the park bench next to Tom Hanks in Forrest Gump, or join Eddie Murphy on the beat in Beverly Hills Cop. Cheer on Sylvester Stallone as the legendary Rocky, catch Steve McQueen in The Great Escape, and step right into the seduction of Dustin Hoffman in The Graduate. Sci-fi fans not to worry: beam aboard the Starship Enterprise and command the bridge in Star Trek.
Making Movies It’s a back stage pass like never before around the studio back lot. Pose with A-list comedians Jim Carrey and Robin Williams, hard-at-work directors Martin Scorsese, Steven Spielberg and Quentin Tarantino, and silver screen goddesses Cameron Diaz and Uma Thurman.
American Idol Now the spotlight’s on you. American Idol host Ryan Seacrest invites you to take the stage, choose a song, and give it your all. Just watch out for controversial comments from judge Simon Cowell.
Sports The mood is frenetic in the sports pavilion. Step onto the green with Tiger Woods, test your hoop skills against one of the NBA’s best, Los Angeles Lakers’ superstar Kobe Bryant, put the pedal to the metal with Lance Armstrong, or pose on a half pipe with legendary Tony Hawk.
Action Heroes This
futuristic, thrilling zone’s complete with cutting-edge graphics,
dramatic lighting, and sound effects. You’ll find yourself in the
action with Antonio Banderas as Zorro, Arnold Schwarzenegger as the Terminator, Bruce Willis in Die Hard, Halo’s Master Chief, Hugh Jackman as the untamed Wolverine, Fantastic Four star Jessica Alba, Spiderman, and Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark and his alter ego, Iron Man.
Behind the Scenes As if the magic of spending the day with all of these famous faces isn’t enough, let Beyoncé Knowles guide you through the story of Madame Tussauds and just how these breathtaking figures are made.
Awards Ceremony The crème de la crème of the acting community are here offering their applause and respect, and the esteemed attendees include Meryl Streep, Morgan Freeman, Tom Hanks, and Jack Nicholson. Halle Berry invites you to step up to the podium to accept your award and offer a few closing remarks about your star-studded experience.
