Welcome to LA. This is it. The birthplace of the motion picture industry. The home of Hollywood. And if you’re a fan of HBO’s smash
hit comedy series Entourage, here’s a juicy little treat for you: the LA you
see on the screen is real. A-list hang outs. Million-dollar parties. Sexy
stars. Los Angeles has it all. So rally up your own entourage and
scope out the real-life hot spots you can’t get enough of on
the show.
ALL ACCESS Entourage sneaks a peek at the day-to-day life
of Vince Chase (Adrian Grenier) – a hot young actor in
modern-day Hollywood
– and his entourage: manager Eric (Kevin Connolly), half-brother Johnny Drama
(Kevin Dillon), friend Turtle (Jerry Ferrara), and superagent Ari (Jeremy
Piven). But you don’t need to break into the biz to get a glimpse of their
larger-than-life world. All you need to get behind the scenes is a day in LA.
Admit
it. Sometimes you turn a slight shade of green with envy watching Vince and the gang cruise in
their slick Continental as the opening credits of Entourage roll by. Grauman’s
Chinese Theatre. Hustler Hollywood. Mel’s Drive-in. Every shot is filmed right
here. And now it’s finally your turn to explore. From the Sunset Strip, to Hollywood
and Highland, to Cahuenga. Some of the world’s most famous stretches of road
are right beneath your feet.
LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION In LA, it’s all about location. And after four
seasons of Entourage, you’ve probably got an endless list of places you’re
dying to check out. Remember when the boys have lunch surrounded by models?
That’s Fred Segal. Vince’s premiere of Head On is at ArcLight Cinemas. The
crew passes Mark Wahlberg (the show’s actual
producer) on the Warner Bros. lot. Eric and Ari’s first power dinner is at Koi.
And date night starts at Lucky Strike Lanes. If you’re craving a tofu scramble
á la Johnny Drama, grab some healthy grub at Real Food Daily. Or follow the
gang to super-hip eateries like 24-hour Fred 62 and Pink’s Hot Dogs.
STAR STRUCK Wish you could make an appearance at an
industry party? Especially one at the home of smoking hot Jessica Alba? We can’t give you her number, but you could
stop by Almor Wine and Spirits, where the guys stock up for Jessica’s shindig.
Or check out Vince’s yoga class at the very first Gold’s Gym in Venice Beach
and maybe you’ll run into California “governator” Arnold Schwarzenegger. A
Laker’s game or concert at Staples Center is always a good place to scope celebs. Or you could cruise to Chateau
Marmont, where Vince meets Billy Walsh, and just maybe catch a glimpse of
Lindsay Lohan. She’s also been spotted at the Tropicana Bar at the Hollywood
Roosevelt Hotel.
Here
in LA, anything is possible. Get ready to eat, party and live like a star. We
don’t make this stuff up. It happens here. Don’t forget to catch re-airs of
Entourage on HBO2 and HBO Comedy. And if you’re still in need of
a little extra Chase, check www.hbo.com/entourage.
AND FOR THE FANS OF 24 Not a fan of Vinnie Chase and the Hollywood
scene? Maybe Special Agent Jack Bauer’s life on the
edge is more your style? FOX’s knockout thriller 24
stars Kiefer Sutherland as Bauer and follows the federal agent around Los Angeles as he tries to prevent
home-soil terrorist attacks. Each season of this clever series marks
twenty-four hours in Bauer’s life, keeping episodes in real-time and audiences on the edge of their
seats.
Season 7 returns to FOX in 2008. For more info,
check out www.fox.com/24. Or since you’re here, just
cruise around the real LA and experience your own twenty-four hours of non-stop
action.
