County Performing Artscenter presents American Ballet Theatre Experience
Etudes, a ballet by Harold Lander illustrating
the complete development of classical ballet
from the basic five positions to that pure virtuosity
of romanticism. Etudes is sometimes referred
to as a representation of the work which must
be accomplished by dancers as they make that
difficult climb to the top of their art. American Ballet
Theatre also returns with a new ballet by
Twyla Tharp to the music of Danny Elfman scheduled
to debut in July in New York. Orange
