RenHey there, I’m Ren and I love helping people like you have a great time! When I’m not covering a canvas with paint, or creating logos as a graphic designer, I’m out experiencing art of all types. If you’re like me and appreciate cruising local galleries, catching new exhibits, listening to live music, going to opening night at the theater, taking in a new movie, enjoying good cooking that isn’t mine ;) and LOVE being out in Mother Nature… you’ve come to the right place. Oh yeah!

Born and raised in the Bay area, I moved 24 years ago from the sleepy beach town of Santa Cruz to the faster pace of Newport Beach. A year later I found the best of both locations and settled in the slice of heaven called Laguna Beach and started to raise a family.

We have lots of visitors every year and I love to answer questions like, “Where can we find the best martini in town?” or “What is an Artwalk?” I’m excited that here at The Place I’ll be able to share my “hot spots” and experiences with more than just a few.

As a recent empty nester, I’ve set my path for fresh adventure and fun. From the inexpensive (free) to the “I’m in, let’s go for it!” I’m about exploring new sites and sounds, not only here in the OC but LA and San Diego as well and would love to take you along for the ride!
