Hello. Yes, I'm the President and Publisher of The Place Media group and enjoy getting the opportunity to share my home with all who come to visit. I was born in the beach suburbs of Los Angeles and grew up playing football, baseball, volleyball, surfing, skateboarding, and being a regular Southern California kid. Had the opportunity to play a little football at college in San Diego while enjoying living in Mission Beach. When work beckoned and I had to decide where to locate to settle and raise a family, I chose Laguna Beach. I wanted to be in the OC, in the center of SoCal, so I could take in family and friends from the north and the south.

I'll always remember being a tour guide in college during the winter holidays. The image of all those people flooding in to enjoy the Rose Parade and our weather has always stuck in my mind - it was so much fun to share my love for Southern California with all who came. That, in conjunction with my favorite quote by Jacqueline Kennedy, is what led me to begin this publishing venture many years ago: "If you don't raise your children right, nothing else you do matters."
