Lydia Cobb lives in San Diego North County.
She is the marketing manager for a museum/attraction and also enjoys writing and surfing. She gave up a car nearly two years ago in a challenge to live in Southern California without a vehicle, relying on public transportation to get around. That experience might be a book one day, but it's still "being ridden." When Lydia's then five-year old niece learned how to ride waves on a surfboard with her aunt, she nicknamed Lydia "Aunt Surfs-a-Lot." Surfing and nature are central to Lydia's life as her love of the outdoors was rooted in her North Georgia childhood.
